Barbara Joy Laffey is a Senior Broadcast Consultant for Ernst-Van Praag, Inc (EVP).

Ms. Laffey supervises accounts and reviews broadcast estimates for a range of EVP clients, with a specialty in automotive. Ms. Laffey also reviews video components for client websites, interactive campaigns and banner ads. Additionally, Ms. Laffey plays an instrumental role in EVP internal operations, managing consultant training and presenting client seminars.

Ms. Laffey brings a comprehensive background of hands-on production experience to EVP. Ms. Laffey has served as Production Executive and Producer for television and film companies in the US and Canada, as well as VP of Production for programs aired on two US cable television channels. During her early career, she was a Second Assistant Director (AD), First AD, Production Manager and Line Producer for features and TV movies filmed in Canada.

Ms. Laffey studied Liberal Arts at the University of Illinois. She continued her education with studies in Film Production, Photography, and Writing at Columbia College, Ontario College of Art and UCLA Extension, respectively. Additionally, Ms. Laffey continues her studies in Depth Psychology and Writing through Pacifica Graduate Institute Public Programs.
